| 2/13/2023 | This is our Annual Agricultural Seminar for Northern Nevada Commercial Farm & Ranch Employees. We bring in a variety of speakers and talk about a variety of topics directly impacting the Northern Nevadan Agricultural Industry. Lunch is provided. Seminar is from 9am-3 pm. There will be a TED Talk submission recording starting at 5:00 PM. Speaker Crystal Newton gives a talk on how Northern Nevada could solve the freshwater crisis in the Western United States and become one of the most successful agricultural communities in the world. Tickets for this event are separate from the Seminar Event and require a separate registration. All proceeds from ticket sales will go to the US Pyramid Project, a Nonprofit dedicated to solving the global fresh water crisis. more info... |
| 2/13/2023 | This is a TED Talk submission filming. Speaker Crystal Newton talks about how Northern Nevada has the perfect conditions to solve the freshwater crisis of the Western United States. Crystal Newton is the Director of the US Pyramid Project; a Non Profit dedicated to solving the global freshwater crisis. She is also the Team Leader of Nevada's only Xprize Team competing in the $100 million Global Carbon Capture Competiton. Both the Non Profit and the XPrize team are working towards building a new industry in Northern Nevada: freshwater production.
